GOLF
Part of the 183-hectare Domaine de Pont Royal, designed by golf legend Severiano Ballesteros and inaugurated in September 1992, the Pont Royal course is a tourist and sporting gateway to Provence. Admirably maintained, it offers a real sporting challenge to players of all levels thanks to its vast and numerous tees and the variety of shots to be played.
The Ballesteros course (18 holes) was voted Best Course in France 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 by the World Golf Awards. Perfectly integrated into the natural environment, alternating tactical and technical difficulties, between lakes, scrubland and pine forests.
An integral part of the training center, the La Durance course (6 holes) of approximately 1,000 m, designed in the pine forest and along the La Durance canal, offers a technical layout suitable for satisfying both experienced golfers looking for a demanding training ground and beginners in their efforts to improve.
In addition, the Pont Royal Pitch and Putt offers a training area, including a net warm-up area and 3 holes, from 90 to 110 m reproducing the situations of a real course, conducive to training and perfecting approach shots and short game shots.
AQUATIC CENTER

Aquatic areas are spread throughout the village and are suitable for the whole family: relaxation by a heated swimming pool with a beach area, sliding down the double Fantasy Racer slide (from 6 years old), descents of the wild river (in July and August), wave pool, paddling pool with water games and many more.

TOURISM

Between Aix-en-Provence and Avignon, the Domaine de Pont Royal is at the heart of the tourist regions of Alpilles, Luberon and Pays d'Aix.
You can visit the UNESCO World Heritage sites such as the Roman Arena of Arles, the historic center of Avignon with the Palais de Papes and the Pont Bénezet, the Arc de Triomphe and the Roman Theater of Orange, the Pont du Gard and also other places steeped in history such as the village of Baux de Provence or the 12th century Cistercian Abbey of Sénanque, still in operation.
The Luberon castle route leads through five of the " Most Beautiful Villages of France " which are Ansouis, Lourmarin, Ménerbes, Gordes and Roussillon which offers an exceptional walk through an ochre landscape, to be completed by Rustrel "the Provençal Colorado" for enthusiasts.
A few minutes from Pont Royal, numerous wine estates offer the opportunity to taste the region's wines.
The "Côteaux d'Aix" are renowned for their supple and fruity rosé. The "Château Lacoste" combines an art exhibition, tasting, and tour of the estate.
The wines of the Southern Rhône Valley range from the flagship Châteauneuf-du-Pape to the various Village appellations. The richness of this terroir is worth dedicating a day to a "cellar tour."
The “Côteaux du Luberon” mark the transition between these two appellations, notably with “Château La Verrerie”.
Olive oil production is another particularity of the region with numerous cellars, some combining vines and olive trees, where varieties of this nectar can be tasted.
Whether permanent or seasonal, the region's cultural events will delight all tastes, including: The monumental "Carrières de Lumières" hosts unique multimedia shows featuring the greatest names in the history of art. The Avignon festival in July, the La Roque d'Anthéron International Piano Festival in July and August, the Aix-en-Provence lyrical and classical art festival, and a little further afield, the Chorégies d'Orange from late June to early August, all of which are internationally renowned.
